• Meet your in-country representative at the airport before setting out on this unique Malagasy adventure.
  • Please be aware that your driver will be waiting for you at the International Arrival gate.
  • An airport sign with your name should be seen and you may have to look for a logo if the airport gets overcrowded. If you cannot locate your driver please remain calm and approach the Airport Welcome Service.
  •  An announcement intended for your driver can be broadcasted there, and this will then become the rally point. In the case of an emergency or you cannot locate your driver, the emergency contact details are on your documents and you should call the mentioned numbers before attempting to leave the airport. 
  • You will be given your welcome package including maps and more, then be transferred to your hotel.
  • Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: ANTANANARIVO – ANTSIRABE (170km, 3h driving)

  • Drive through the mountainous landscapes and rice fields’ terrace.
  • On the way, we will be meeting handcrafters of cooking – pot and stop –have a lunch at Ambatolampy.
  • Enjoy an afternoon pousse- pousse (rickshaw) tour around the town.
  • One night Hotel in Antsirabe.

Day 3: ANTSIRABE – MIANDRIVAZO (220km, 5h driving)

  • We will drive from Antsirabe to Miandrivazo, which is the starting point of the pirogue tour down the Tsiribihina River; the remainder of the day is free.
  • We will have sightseeing in the town and to the sacred lake called « Andrakiba » on the way to Miandrivazo.
  • Picnic lunch along the road.
  • One night hotel in Miandrivazo.

Day 4: MIANDRIVAZO ( first day for the river trip)

  • Early in the morning, we will start the river cruise through the quiet valley and original village of Miandrivazo on board our wooden boat. The trip is slow and you can relax while absorbing the breathtaking scenery. Sometimes, the boat has to be pushed over sandbank or two and you will rest as meals are served on the shaded areas of riverbanks .
  • In the afternoon, we have big opportunity to meet the birds’ species: pelican, heron, king fisher and so on
  • Accommodation in tents on full board basis.
  • One night hotel in Miandrivazo.

Day 5: TSIRIBIHINA RIVER (02nd day for the river trip)

  • We will then reach the mountains and the jungle zones which shelters lemurs .Others animals like turtles, chameleons
  • We will stop to have a lunch at Cascade (waterfall) where you can take a shower or swim by the falls.
  • Accommodation in tents on full board basis.
  • One night hotel in Miandrivazo.

Day 6: TSIRIBIHINA (the end of river trip -Belo sur Tsiribihina)

  • We will continue by pirogue to enjoy the wilderness of the Tsiribihina River, and we will visit the Sakalava village at Berevo.
  • If we are lucky, we will able to watch the crocodiles sunning   themselves on the bank .Bats cling to the cliffs.
  •  After disambarkement, we will reach the village of Antsiraraka after one hour hike, portage will be ensured by an ox- cart. From here we will drive by 4WD to join  Belo Sur Tsiribihina
  • Diner and overnight at hotel.


  • The trip will be continued northern by 4WD trough a red lateric path, savannah, baobab and bushes to the National park of Tsingy de Bemaraha.
  • We will have a super lunch of the taste from giant open grill garlic prawns in Belo –Tsirbihina and then continue to drive to Tsingy de Bemaraha.
  • Dinner and overnight at lodge.


  • After early breakfast we will drive to Big Tsingy, pointed and sharp rocky formations of limestone whose picks can reach up to 60m rise up from the ground. On some of these peaks, you should see Sifaka lemur .All is very fascinating, especially the visit to the karsic picks and the exceptional vegetation growing in the deep canyons.
  • Drive back to the park’s gate then have 2 hours visit in small Tsingy then  back to the lodge, overnight and dinner at Hotel.


  • After the breakfast, we will take a canoe upstream to visit stalagmites stalactites cave by the « Manambolo river side »at the first time in the morning.
  • After here we will drive back to Belo sur Tsiribihina where we will sleep tonight .Upon arrival we will check your hotel.
  • Night and dinner at Hotel.


  • While heading southern by the red path again, we stop over in Private Forest of Kirindy, one of last age-old deciduous forests and also the largest stretch of forest in the west coast region .The Flora is very rich and Fauna presents an interesting diversity of lemurs. After lunch we will drive towards a dry spiny forest to get the sacred Baobab and the loving Baobab. In this area, Sakalava tribes are used to decorate their graves with erotic wooden sculptures to express the fertility of the tribes.
  • We spend the Sunset by the Baobab Avenue before reach the coastal city of Morondava.
  • Stay at Hotel in Morondava.


  • After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Antananarivo, where a transfer will take you to your hotel in the city of Antananarivo, the picturesque capital of Madagascar.
  • You can wander through the capital’s steep and narrow streets, taking in its architecture, atmosphere and pace. Or you can climb up to the old rova (palace) and enjoy the views over Antananarivo and the surrounding countryside. The town is at its best in the evening when the setting sun spectacularly illuminates its hillsides.
  • After farewell diner, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home, where your unforgettable tour ends. We look forward to welcoming you in Madagascar again very soon!
